Dr Ajay Chanana graduated from King's College London in the UK in 2004 (MBBS) and has been a practising Family Medicine doctor since qualifying with the UK Royal College of General Practitioners in 2010 (MRCGP). He has also completed British residency programs in Emergency Medicine (MCEM), and Anaesthesia & Intensive Care (MRCA). Since 2007 he has worked as an International Flight Doctor retrieving sick patients safely from all corners of the globe, as well as a Cruise Ship Physician caring for thousands of passengers and crew aboard vessels in international waters. He immigrated to Canada in 2019 to enjoy the famously warm and welcoming nature of our nation and its people. He specialises in patient-centered care and takes a holistic approach to pathology, as well as sharing his extensive experience in fitness and nutrition.  

Tara H. MacLeod is a compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in acute care and primary health. At S&Y Clinic, she provides full-scope, patient-centered care, specializing in women’s health, mental health, and chronic disease prevention.

She holds a Master of Science in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner certification from D’Youville College, and is board-certified in both Canada and the U.S. Tara is dedicated to fostering strong, trusting relationships with her patients and empowering them to actively manage their health. She mentors future nurse practitioners as a clinical preceptor at the University of Toronto and was honored with the 2024 Patient Choice Award by the Nurse Practitioner Association of Ontario.

Beyond her professional work, Tara stays physically active, loves to travel, and values time spent with friends and family. Fun fact: each Halloween, she delights in transforming her home into the most hauntingly decorated in the neighborhood.

 Mindy is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner and proud mother of two young daughters. She completed her undergraduate studies at Toronto Metropolitan University and earned her Master of Nursing with a specialization in Primary Care Nurse Practitioner training from the University of Toronto. As both a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner, Mindy has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including pediatrics, cardiology, emergency medicine, and primary care.

She also brings valuable experience from her work at a community health centre, where she provided care and support to newcomers and refugees—an experience that deepened her commitment to equitable, culturally sensitive healthcare. Her clinical interests include women’s health, pediatrics, and diabetes management. Mindy is known for her compassionate approach and is deeply committed to empowering patients to take an active role in their health and well-being.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, and discovering new culinary experiences as an avid foodie.
